@eugen Target date funds are designed to be a wise default solution for folks who don’t know about investing.

If you are coming to Reddit to ask how to invest your 401k then you should probably just be investing in the appropriate target date fund for your age.
 
@mp71 This. 401k matches should be opt-out, and TDFs should be the default fund selection. That is how TSP (Thrift Savings Plan) works for federal military/government employees.
