Car purchase: Is buying a 2-3 years old Toyota still the most rational decision?

@funemma Not saying that you are wrong (everybody has their own life experiences), but my experience with my two kids says that. Yes, our strollers were on the medium-large side, but it's not just that. You need to have a medium-large handbag for clothes, food, diapers etc. etc. And sometimes...

Car purchase: Is buying a 2-3 years old Toyota still the most rational decision?

@kmoreno Everyone that lives in European cities have parking space issues. :-) Trust me, the main issue is not where the kid sits. It's everything that you have to carry because of the kid. Baby strollers do not look like much, but they occupy A LOT of space in the trunk. Depending on the...

Car purchase: Is buying a 2-3 years old Toyota still the most rational decision?

@kmoreno If you plan to have a kid in the near future, I'd go with a bigger car. I like MPVs, but I know that they are being delisted in favor of SUVs. I’m really sick of all the “suggest a broker” post

@aubreyeg07 In 1981, internet was nothing more than an academic tool. In 2021, internet is an almost indispensable part of our lives. In 2006, phones were not smart. In 2021, we are not smart without our phones. TL;DR: I don't think that we will need to wait 1000 years to see if the cryptos...

I’m really sick of all the “suggest a broker” post

@aubreyeg07 So, gold and crypto are basically the same, but we should "respect" gold and "despise" crypto because gold is around for thousands of years? I still remember when the same notion of having a device in your pocket that would allow you not only to communicate, but read news, listen to...

I’m really sick of all the “suggest a broker” post

@aubreyeg07 I see crypto in the same category as gold. When we discuss shares, or even commodities like iron, there are speculation, but also there are some real world behind it. But gold, it has value because people says that it has value. What if people stop thinking that? And would you ban...

I’m really sick of all the “suggest a broker” post

@gurshwin I agree that there should be a sidebar, a Q&A or a FAQ. However, I don't see that many posts about it. I counted 7 in the last 30 (sorted by new) and almost all of them are for very specific things, that could not be covered in a FAQ.
