    @justinlo You’re confused, State Farm doesn’t pay for a Public adjuster and you don’t pay them your deductible, that gets paid to the contractor. So who did you give money to during this insurance claim?

    @psuseagull Price doesn’t matter once insurance commits to cover it, your cost will always be your deductible at most. What you should be most concerned with is quality of work and are they a trusted reliable contractor.

    @jabe Get a contractor to meet with the adjuster to try and get a proper scope off the bat and discuss what items might need to be added via supplement. If the contractor you choose says that your insurance adjuster isn’t paying for necessary repairs, then it maybe time to explore PA or lawyer...

    @anton_james I think we’ll need more information about the status of you claim to give you more than a guess. Are you trying to close the claim? Are you trying to get a different contractor to do the repairs? Are you trying to not do repairs? Do you want to withdraw the claim?
