@threadloom i've heard some services possibly moved theirs. but from my understanding, the service branch dictates when precisely within that 8-12yr mark you are able to take it. but i could be wrong.

@reimi Going back and checking transactions, it looks like it literally paid out on the day after my 12 year mark. It didn't come thru on a paycheck, it was a separate deposit.

@godsu That's typically how SRBs work, they have you pay back prorated. So I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

@cassidy Doesn't specify anywhere on that form. In mypay you can turn incentive and bonus to 100% contribution though, so that ought to do it. Not sure if this falls specifically under incentive or bonus though.

@g54 Yeah. But technically you're losing to inflation, and in future years you likely have higher income anyways. So..... It's a toss up and depends on your situation
