    @deborahs757 Yes but that is likely unrealistic wrt income. Typical family income in silver coast is around 180’000 chf which is likely much higher than in other places.

    @sammac Just the 2 children. And how is your house 15k a year? For a family its closer to >30k a year as you need at least 3.5 rooms. And then most of your savings already gone i guess. I dont think struggle is the right word with your salary. Bit our spending with 2 adults and 2 kids is around...

    @satrebor There are few more benefits - if you ever drop in salary and have less wealth (as its in 3a etc) you could qualify for healthcare subsidy etc. For a family thesholds for this are quite high.

    Budget for 70k-80k

    @kufe 75k is about 6.something k a month. So lets say rent is 2k, healthcare 1k, groceries 1k - then there is still 2k left (travel, nice things, kid courses etc maybe?) You may be right that its hard if you would pay 3k+ for an appartment.

    @xc37 We live for about 100k incl a plane holiday for 4 out of europe, drive a mercedes and pay a kita half time. So i guess its definitely not so hard to do if not holidaying out of europe and not owning a car.
