    Guidance requested

@caranxruber I’ve read that you want to have a 3-6 month liquid emergency fund. If you don’t have that start with that. Then move to upping your retirement. Retirement? Never heard of it

@childofgodharrison Also weird question. Your husband gets VA benefits but y’all pay $200 in healthcare a month? Seems high. We pay $47 for the both of us. Unless that’s like dental and vision?

    Retirement? Never heard of it

@childofgodharrison Honestly it still looks like you are doing better than my husband and I was when we first started making better money. So I think you are well on your way to doing retirement. I'm currently trying to pull my shit together and buckle down. Best of luck on your journey!

    Is our spending reasonable?

@zombimansimp So with food waste if you really wanna up your budget I’ve started to do anything I waste gets removed monetarily from next month’s budget. Threw away a $2.50 avocado?… well there goes $2.50 next month. I’ve started freezing more as well. Just in hopes I’ll actually eat it.

    Is our spending reasonable?

@zombimansimp To have groceries at $850 and dining/alcohol at $650 seems high especially in Kansas City. We are closer to $1100-1200 in the Annapolis area MD.
