@jerry7 I’m not sure about the zakat situation but I also was laid off on the second day of Ramadan. It really upsets you but have faith in Allah and you will look back and be happy that things happen the way they do.

Salam all, so the question is how do I calculate zakat? Usually I have been paying zakat at the end of every Ramadan based on the money I have earned since the previous Ramadan. Is that how it works?
