    @bobsam 0.91% 5 year fix on a remortgage in 2021. Could have done 10 year for 1.1% and stupidly turned it down 😭 Not sure it’s particularly helpful for you to hear how some managed to luck out though…

    @gr3g But you also saved a minimum of 20% in income tax by contributing it and the money will have recovered somewhat since then and hopefully will continue to do so.

    @landonnate you will need to register for a self assessment and pay tax on any income over your tax free allowance (~£12k so you have said you are a while away from that) you get £1000 per tax year as an initial buffer - you only need to report if you earn more than this amount in a tax year...
