    Prescriptions that use to just have a $1 co-pay now aren’t covered by my insurance

    @trifo Also check GoodRX. I saved $80 a month by switching to Wegmans pharmacy + GoodRX versus using CVS + insurance.

    Us “poors” can’t get a real doctor anymore and finding a NP isn’t easy either.

    @giamfreeg Based on feed back here I go through to Inova network and got a hold of someone that connected me with an available practice!

    @jahypnus7 Appreciate the validation! My HR lady was also very helpful and supportive. She had never heard of the concierge thing and is following up with Cigna for more info.

    @cyclone_105 Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I feel I just don’t have the mental capacity to jump through all the hoops. I already had a panic attack dealing with this yesterday. I’m 52 and wanted to find a practice I could have a relationship with. Get checked for all the things a 50yo...

    @tabitha007 Pretty sure I heard “per month “ but can certainly confirm. If that’s how they operate that’s their prerogative, but why is Cigna listing them as available practices?

    @foreverthankful It’s $180 per month subscription to join the practice. In addition to what I already pay out of my paycheck. $180x12 months = $2160. My deductible is $1500.

    @brenda76 Yeah, that’s what I did… Cigna’s website isn’t updated with good info.

    @heretichermes Do you mean offices branded under the hospital name? Like in my area that would be something like “VHC Physicians Group”? Or something affiliated with Inova? (Northern Virginia)

    @winston_32 Before I posted here I did call Cigna multiple times and the reps are understanding. Tried to help narrow down by filtering, gave me lists to call… but all attempts were either concierge or not accepting or no answer after long hold times. Also let my HR know, it’s definitely a waste...

    @elizabethc I live in a major urban area. All I’m asking for is a list of practices that are really available and covered by my employers plan. I get that keeping the database updated is difficult, but how many do you have to call to find a match? Of 9 calls, nothing so far?

    @steffi Last 2 times I was sick I went to urgent care because I knew it would be impossible to get a next day appointment. Once for strep and once for pneumonia, needed antibiotics both times.

    I have Cigna and spent 2hrs on the phone with them AND called 9 different DR and NP offices. Can’t find anyone accepting new patients that isn’t requiring “concierge” fees. And no way to filter them out on the Cigna portal. Guess I’ll go to the emergency room for everything now. Update: finally...
