    @dincali I like plan 2 better but I need to know what you’re giving up if anything for it. You should be able to check their formulary. Copay cards will deff help. Hospital charity care can also be helpful in subsidizing a deductible should you need those services

    @mavep24 Go to the ER and we can get you applied with hospital charity care. Hopefully you’re feeling a bit better today.

    Prior Authorization Denied - Can I file an appeal or can this only be done by my son’s healthcare provider?

    @anthompson87 Yes you can always appeal. Just make sure you’re within the deadline to appeal (usually 6 months or so) and if not, redo the auth and when it denies, appeal it immediately.

    @mountaintrip98 It’s been around for about 26-27 years so that makes sense.

    @foreverthankful I mean… I’m not sure what the requirements are to invoke it but if she qualified for that protected leave, even if it wasn’t officially noted, it’s obviously harder to prove, but they should’ve known when they approved her for the leave that it was federally protected… At least...

    @foreverthankful Well, if it is their policy determinate, it might be a violation of the FMLA.

    @tom_the_doubter Did you apply for hospital charity care? That would help with the June 2023 surgery. You MAY be able to get them to consider the delivery with good cause, like having a kid imo might apply.

    @blueberrycake Yes, but the ACA prevents insurance companies from discriminating against you because of it. Also charity care laws are very useful so if you need care, get it
