    Alternate approach to FIRE

@tinamar Too much complicated math. Don’t use fd returns for covering living expenses. Use this simple math. 75% equity 20% debt 5% liquid. And 3% of corpus you are allowed to spend in a year. That will give you 1.5years of expenes in liquid fund, 6-7% years of expnese in debt. Every year do...

Anxiety about future- What to do next

@cedric48 Its very simple, you have to do goal based investment. Some of your goals are so far away it mitigates the risk as long as you are diversified

@planter Seriously? Why can't you ask your cook to make 2 time meals. We only order stuff which is too much hassle to make, like grill chicken, momos.

    What am I doing wrong?

@duffy44 I am not qualified to give financial advice, but since you said GPU take a look at the GPU stock price, it should give you hints where to invest.

    What am I doing wrong?

@duffy44 True. Don’t gatekeep things which gets you all the joy and fun. Even I keep buying new microcontrollers while I can’t keep up doing stuff with it.

    [Milestone] Crossed 1 cr networth

@amada___ If you have 100rs, you keep 5rs in liquid fund, 20rs in debt fund and 75rs in equity, spend 3rs every year, and replnish 3rs from equity->debt->liquid every year. You can expect equity to grow at inflation + 3% hence keeping the flow forever. if the equity doesnt grow due to market...

Another one of those typical car finance conundrum posts

@tp243 If your savings are more than 1cr, dont bother, else take the loan. After 5 years you would have 3cr, this 3L wont make a dent.
