    @mariangel Also, the newer Rich Tourist Visa seems a safe and useful option at those levels of wealth, unless one needs to work for whatever reasons people that do that might have. The tax bill would crush my soul.

    @burk88 I am CDN, but the couple of times I have let it go I just started bombarding them with the normal T-1 filing forms in order from latest to most recent. If you are missing any of the the T-4 income reporting forms from your employers just eyeball it and make a note that it is an estimate...

    @harpgal Is that an urban myth thing? Even I was aghast when I read that, and I have dealt with the US federales before.

    @mpax38 Just to add to that, with your talent set you deserve to earn more than that, say at least 350Man per month???? It's not easy, as you noted, but your age right now would be a better time to make the jump up than waiting and struggling on a low income. Good luck.

    @%C3%90oan9919 The OP is talking about JPN citizens, but yes, and nicely put on that last part. Only idiots would or would expect anybody normal to pay more taxes than obligated.
