    @timothygrae You can always get to that later. I'd say most people even with pretty expensive houses do not bother to get it finished as part of the build.

    @timothygrae Good luck. We built last year. I would not soon do it again. I found it too stressful, needlessly expensive, and we still have tens of thousands left to spend with the basement, driveway, landscaping. I just regret the frivolous expense. I will say do not, do not at all cheap out...

    @tmanocd I’ve had generally good luck with used but these days new cars can be bad at a good price, full of features etc. there is a modest premium paid for new but you end up with a vehicle with a set cost and the aforementioned benefits.

    Here's a trick I've been using for the past year to control impulse spending.

    @soap94 My God. My household budget, including wife & kids, is $200/month on restaurants/eating out (that includes ALL eating out or coffee). Last month we missed the budget by $9. We're off track this month currently $150, but that's for several people, too.
