@leslie74 That’s nice but you’re missing my point. Over time, and I would argue that 5 years is a decent amount of time, a balanced portfolio should be showing some kind of return, not 0%. Even a low risk portfolio should. It increasingly feels like something isn’t working the way it’s supposed...

@dexter234 I’m having a similar experience. Started investing in early 2019 and have biweekly contributions, current portfolio is around $150k and its always within a thousand dollars of my contributions, up or down, so basically I haven’t made anything and have lost money relative to inflation...
