@johny111 There are many limitations with the Taylor rule, the biggest of which, you can't apply it to Australia because we are not the US (ie we don't have 30 year fixed mortgages). This is like trying to fix a Ferrari with the manual of a Lamborghini. Sure, the same general principles apply...
