    @fantomas318 I am a financial planner. All financial planners sell life insurance because it's part of financial planning. Just like all surgeons use a scalpel or all mechanics use a wrench.

    @fantomas318 That is not true at all. I understand why life insurance is not everybody's water-cooler-topic, but life insurance is a KEY component in planning (if you're not a millionaire). Some people have a bad experience with a life insurance salesperson and lump life insurance into that...

However, in your situation, nobody is going to retire working with you. Most advisors and planners have to make a living like anybody else. They solicit their knowledge...
