    @jamilet So in this example every member of the credit union is an investor of the credit union. It is not for profit by its charter. In their loan process they charge an application fee for the loan to cover expenses. Banks are for profit. Credit Unions usually are not.

They have almost no incentive to do it in modern capitalism if they cant make even a small profit... Being from the US, i would suggest a Credit Union... where...
