    @leo_meshay lol good luck. only cars I can think of that will possibly hold value are collectors' items eg. air cooled Porsche 911's, Ferrari GTO etc.

    @dreamylala engineering, mechatronics, software engineering , AI... all good career paths, that being said, better set your sights on a career overseas. that gap year is a good idea. travel and new experiences really does broaden your horizons.

    @appycatholic heh, when i was 20, my entire month's salary worked out to 3k before tax :-) but yah its a tale as old as time... "if only i had started seriously saving in my younger days." thinking back now i've also spent waay too much money on stupid stuff... cars, the latest gadgets, etc...

    @bjordan ...if you used your full TFSA allowance (36k pa or just 3k per month) for the last three years you'd also be at about 150k now. provided of course you'd invested in the right funds, ie SP500 or MSCI world....

    @sharrylee lol why is it hard to believe? in today's currency a million net worth is actually not much at all. i mean i know people who own flats ( worth > 1 million) who do not even own cars.
