Vendor won’t let us inspect property until after settlement

@resjudicata They probably were lying, but having recently sold, yes, unconditional contracts are common. Unrefundable deposits even get offered. It's foolish, but it happens.

Purchased the wrong investment property with instant regret before settlement

@lejoelle Definitely varies by region then. Units to me are just anything strata titled (so all apartments are units but not all units are apartments).

Is it starting to not make sense with EV charging costs increasing?

@veron So you think EV market share won't change during the life of these new buildings built to these mandates? To be clear, I said capable of charging. That means having sufficient power and wiring, not spending the final $$ for the charger itself (which shouldn't be mandated as that can...

I’d like to buy a new car. What is my best option. What should I know before making an order?

@krimmie I doubt $800 (about equal to 6 tank refills) for a charger is going to be the deciding factor if you think it's smart to spend $100K on a car. But make your own predictions about future costs.

Is it starting to not make sense with EV charging costs increasing?

@veron Wow, 10%... They should at least have mandated 50% spaces with the capability to charge. It doesn't have to be fast charging for workplaces.

Is it starting to not make sense with EV charging costs increasing?

@fruwdjsb91 Workplace charging needs to be mandated. It's stupid to charge at night in this country, that's never going to work at scale.
