@chelle Enrolled agents have to take a 3 part proctored exam (pass all 3 parts within 2 years), have more continuing education requirements, are are legally able to represent you in IRS court.

@batman96795 Just a tip if someone does go to H&R block, look on their website at the tax preparers that work at that office and pick an 'Enrolled Agent'. They won't screw up.
