    @barcer In a minimal growth company, with no changes to P/E, your returns should roughly equal E/P. So yes, it should describe your expected returns.

    @lackofaclevername But don't both sides need to do this typically? How do you avoid having a huge chain of transactions that all need to close on the same day?
