    @akadascribe That isn't so big of an issue, its more of the banks wants you to prove that you can service the loan until the end. Having an FD in their bank helps with your success rate.

    @akadascribe Yes, the bank is always worried about your income stability when they calculate the risk of granting your a loan. So a permanent role will always be better when you're applying to get a loan.

    @notaperfectchristian I don’t really like the idea of working until 12am, personally, because I used to do that a lot for my job previously and I couldn’t sleep well as my mind was wide awake after working.

    @meesh1070 Do you have siblings? That might mean there’ll be someone else to be shoulder the burden of the loan and responsibility if necessary. I have the exact same take home pay but I save way lesser, only 20% of that (purely FD) but the rest goes to investments, ASNB, Bursa and my car loan...

    @cookie1720 Then is there anything you can do with stubborn parents? Speaking from my experience, it’s a big fat NO. Just let them do whatever they want so long as you’re not affected.

    @cookie1720 I’m sorry to say there’s nothing much you can do but take it as a lesson and move on. As a daughter, you can probably tell your mom to consult you in any product that isn’t regulated by SC or PIDM in the future to prevent further losses.
