    @armanqnthony Just wondering why you keep 50% in a chequing account? Unless your paying by debit over credit card? I keep my chequing account at a bare minimum since I use it for bills only and I get 0% for it.

    Just heard of the Simplefile by phone tax filing service. Is it safe?

    @prodigalredeemed CRA has a list of approved tax services. If you find it there then it should be ok. I never heard of them though so I would look elsewhere. I didn't check the CRA site though for the one you're asking about.

    @starchysocks For an absolute beginner, XEQT is a good fund. It's diversified and requires no work other than putting money in it.
