    @kdubpenny I call bullshit on anyone ever paying thousands over less than $10 of income. There are caps on penalties and interest based on amount owed.

    @futaba You should report it, but if you have to amend, it will probably cost you something. See if you can alter your return before it's submitted since IRS isn't even accepting returns yet.

    @davidbb Box 1 doesn't exclude taxes or SS taxes. It excludes pretax benefits like health insurance and HSA/FSA, as well as traditional (tax deferred) retirement contributions (401K/403B/TSP/pension contributions).
