@agear69 I think you're fine it's just opportunity cost. However, I do think this sub can be a bit miserly sometimes. I'm all for smart choices but we will be dead or unable due to old age to enjoy all the money we earn so you have to live. I realised I might as well have certain things above...

@jschutonline People who earn high salaries don't tend to have a safety net mentality which is in itself unambitious. That's not to say the don't need it or things can't go wrong but the type of people who can pay off, won't have that outlook
