How is anyone with a full time job struggling ?

@eivekeu I don’t think earning 100k in a high COL part of Switzerland is flexing much… and I literally said I could live the same sort of life on minimal salary

How is anyone with a full time job struggling ?

@mart113 I feel that I wouldn’t have to make too many adjustments to my lifestyle to live with 40k income. Of course with only that amount you can’t save up much and you can’t have children on a single income. I also feel that more than 2,7% of people are complaining of struggling here…

How is anyone with a full time job struggling ?

@christiansophistry But if you are two parents in your exact situation, you would have 24x2=48k to raise children which is more than enough?

How is anyone with a full time job struggling ?

@stevona Kits is 20-25k per year if you are using it 5 days a week AND make good money. If you’re a single income household then you don’t have to pay kita, if you can do some work from home then you can not pay for 5 days as well.

How is anyone with a full time job struggling ?

Even if I was a single dad of 2 it would just mean that instead of saving 44k each year I would save ~30k. If you are saying that it’s hard if you earn...

How is anyone with a full time job struggling ?

@regret_living The numbers were for a single person, but for a couple you could just multiply everything by 2 and then you’d get 3k for housing.

How is anyone with a full time job struggling ?

I’ve been reeding a couple of subreddits, including this one and there always seems to be the same types of post of people struggling to make ends meet on a normal salary. I am seriously wondering how this is possible in Switzerland. The only explanation I can see is that people have incredibly...
