What to do with a 7-figure payout?

I'm getting a 7 figure payment next month. I wanted to put it all into USD ETFs as per the Bogleheads philosophy. However, the exchange rate is so bad. So my options are: Stick to plan. Convert lumpsum to USD; or Build a 12-mth FD ladder. Convert to USD upon maturity. In a way, this would...

I'll make RM2mil from selling my business, how do I achieve financial freedom?

@pablob Yea, I thought about omitting the inheritance part but I needed to mention it to explain the rationale for preferring the riskier option A over B. Yes, most likely going to keep working. I'll make RM2mil from selling my business, how do I achieve financial freedom?

@ineedadvice101 It's really a self-esteem thing. I'm hoping not to rely on that RM20m as best as I can since it's not 'my money'. The RM2m on the other hand is money I made myself, and I hope to say that I can just use that to stand on my own. My hope is that the RM20m can just pass on to my kids.

I'll make RM2mil from selling my business, how do I achieve financial freedom?

Breakdown of lifestyle is basically 50% my wife's pilates, and 50% my video gaming hobbies. I should meantion that I bought a PS5 over the period, but I balanced it off by selling my PS4, so net net it was about RM2k spent.
