    @markde916 In the vast majority of cases, disabled is defined, in part, as being incapable of self-support. What others are saying us that OP likely won't qualify as a disabled dependent, not that the exception doesn't exist.

    @trifo Were they filled in the last couple of weeks? The changehealth cyber attack has caused a giant mess that isn't yet cleaned up.

    @qzxcvbn The large bill looks like the facility component, so basically the use of their building and equipment. The others are professional charges (ER Dr, radiologist, etc).

    @peruss Was the procedure done in an in-network hospital or surgery center? Also, did you just get the EOB recently?

    @smiles76 If you end up working in the benefits arm of HR, you will deal with the employee health plan and any Life insurance provided to employees (if applicable), so previous experience with health and life insurance would be a plus. P&C wouldn't be applicable to HR.
