Today at 34 years, 1 month and 2 days old - I hit 100k in my 401k (with company 4 years), and 1M net worth

@resjudicata Yeah didn't mean it like this. As mentioned below, just want houses to come on the market and for houses to not be as expensive as they are right now.

@fantomas318 True but I never intend to sell them. I'll hold on pretty much forever. People will always be renting especially on the area I'm in.

@inneed1012 Very true. Meant it like, homes are ridiculously expensive and there's nothing in my area. Hoping more homes become available or prices go down.

No full match. Employer matches 7%. Savings is 100% for a down payment for next home. Then it will be fully retirement savings and a safety net savings.

I've been with my company for just shy of 4 years. I started working for them on Sept 28, 2016. I thought I was going to hit 100k in my 401k back in March but damn you Corona virus! Ive been waiting for this day for sometime and also - same day, we hit $1M net worth. I am so damn proud of my...

Asking for advice for a 37 year old with 60000 worth of debt and no 401k

@mssonya84 Can’t blame Elon for buying a car you really can’t afford. If you have only debt, and no savings….its your spending that’s the issue. Cut back. Sell the car you can’t afford. Pay off that 10% loan. $18k will get you as far as 2.5 months.
