    @eee27 TIL I had heard that brokers like tastyworks, Robin hood, a d possibly others even accept EU customers and allow them to buy US funds.

    @eee27 Is this correct? EU brokers are not allowed to sell these funds to EU resident, but is this also disallowed for US brokers? Of course some US brokers will not allow you to make transactions if you are not a US resident.

    @duzt Every country has their own definition of tax residency. One can be tax resident in multiple countries. Tax residency is not directly linked to immigration status like permanent residency.
