You can withdraw cash securely even without your debit card from any Emirates NBD

Tap on the Cardless Withdrawal option on the ATM screen. Enter the mobile number on which they have received the authorisation code. Note: If the beneficiary is not an Emirates NBD customer, the ATM will prompt them to insert their Emirates ID for verification. Enter the amount to be withdrawn.

Cardless ATMs provide access to your account and allow you to withdraw cash without the need for a card. Instead, they rely on account verification via text message or a banking app on your smartphone. There are several ways that cardless ATMs can function.

UPI-ATM Cash Withdrawal

UPI-ATM is an Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) service that facilitates participating bank's customers who are live on UPI, to withdraw cash from any participating banks' ATMs (enabled for UPI-ATM) without using their card.

If your checking account is not enrolled in Debit Card Overdraft Service and you don't have enough available money in your checking account or in accounts linked for Overdraft Protection, ATM and everyday (one-time) debit card transactions will be declined at the time of the transaction.

But, if you are withdrawing money from another bank's ATM, you may face charges in the UAE and internationally. Since ATMs in the UAE are under the UAESWITCH system, there is a standardised fees for ATM withdrawal charges. This also applies to ATMs in the GCC.
